Parent and Toddler Supportgroup

Parent Toddler Group

Communication Works offers parent-toddler groups for families interested in learning new ways to further develop your child’s speech, language, social, and sensory skills, all while having fun and connecting with your tiny tot! Groups provide a wonderful opportunity for parents/caregivers with children of similar ages to meet and connect during this amazing time in their child’s growth. These groups will be offered to all families looking to support their child’s development: both with children who are identified with special needs and those with typically developing children.

Our Program

Weekly sessions are theme based, focusing on different areas of development for young children. Each week, as the theme is introduced and modeled, parents/caregivers will be provided with tools and materials used in class to utilize at home. These tools will come with ideas and examples of ways to easily incorporate them into the family’s daily routine and to encourage the continuation of fun educational concepts at home. Groups will consist of 5 to 8 families with children ranging in age from 12 to 36+ months.
